Montgomery County Government provides many services to individuals affected by partner abuse.

 

  • The Family Justice Center 240-773-0444.  600 Jefferson Plaza, Rockville MD 20852. A walk-in center with a full array of services for victims of partner abuse (help with Protective or Peace Orders, criminal charges, counseling, spiritual support, emergency assistance, etc.)  Mon-Fri 9-5:00.

  •  Crisis Center 240-777-4673 (TTY 240-777-4815).  1301 Piccard Drive, Rockville MD 2050. A 24/7 telephone and walk-in agency.  After-hours access to safe shelter for victims of partner abuse and their children.

  •  The Abused Persons Program 240-777-4210 (TTY 240-777-4815). Counseling for victims of partner abuse, offenders, and child witnesses.  Call for information or appointment.  Also legal advocacy for victims.  Mon-Fri 9-5.

  • National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-7233 (TTY 1-800-787-3233)

  • Teen Dating Hotline 1-866-331-9474

No one can deal with abuse all alone. Help is available!
